Shelter Policies All calls for service must be filed through the Warren Police Department. Non-emergency and inquiries may be made to the Warren Animal Shelter during normal business hours. The Warren Animal Shelter impounds stray dogs and sick or injured cats ONLY. Persons wishing to surrender an animal must contact a private humane agency (ie: RISPCA, Providence Animal Rescue League, Potter League). Volunteers
The Warren Animal Shelter has a very small but dedicated paid staff that oversees the day-to-day operations, business, and maintenance of our facilities. We rely heavily on the generosity of volunteers, who give us their time and skills to help us provide the best possible care for the animals that are entrusted to us. The Warren Animal Shelter does more than provide a meal and shelter for a couple hundred animals each year. We are a vital link to the community and serve the people.
