Our Services:
Outreach Information and Referral: We provide information on available services and resources designed to improve quality of life. We can answer your questions about community services and available resources.
Health Insurance Counseling: A specially trained counselor will meet with you if you have problems with your health insurance, prescription insurance or questions about your coverage options.
Health Promotion: Blood pressure screenings are offered each month from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Cholesterol and diabetes screenings and annual flu and pneumonia shots are offered by the VNS of Bristol and Newport Counties. Pharmacy consultations and hearing screenings are also available.
Educational Programs: Our programs are designed to enhance your senior years with the most current information on issues that concern you. We offer guest speakers, workshops and classes.
Fitness Program: We have an ongoing senior aerobic class with weights and strengthening bands, a line dancing class and a recreational bocce club.
Social and Recreational Activities: Join us for fun and friendship. We offer the following classes and activities: Senior aerobics, line dancing, computer classes, Whist, Bridge, Pinochle, Cribbage, HiLo Jack, Bingo, crocheting, crafts, ceramics, painting, flower arranging, drama club, entertainment, movies, day trips, blood pressure screening, health screenings, annual flu clinics, guest speakers and presentations, heath and welfare seminars and AARP Safe Driving courses.
Warren Senior Dining Program
A delicious and nutritous meal is served daily in our dining center at 11:30 a.m. for a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 245-2474.
