The Town of Warren's fiscal year begins July 1st. Annual tax bills are sent out during the first week in July with quarterly payments due on the following dates:
First Quarter – Due August 1, 2011 Second Quarter – Due November 1, 2011 Third Quarter – Due February 1, 2012 Fourth Quarter – Due May 1, 2012
All tax bills must be paid within five business days of the due date, after which interest will accrue at 18% on the entire outstanding balance. Payment can be made after hours by dropping payment in the after-hours drop box, located in the lobby of the Public Safety Building (1 Joyce Street behind Town Hall).
Pay Your Taxes Automatically
The Town of Warren offers taxpayers the ability to authorize automatic payments directly from their bank accounts. The ACH Authorization is provided to taxpayers for monthly, quarterly or annual payments on their real estate, motor vehicle and tangible taxes. The Town of Warren's Financial Town Meeting is the 3rd Monday in May.
