Animal Control

The Warren Animal Control Office is part of the Warren Police Department. Call the shelter for adoption services or to report an animal problem.

Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)

The Warren DMV is located at:

Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Free parking located in the Warren Police station parking lot.

Education & Schools

Warren is part of the Bristol/Warren Regional School District. Under the framework of the school district, elementary school-aged children attend school in their respective towns, whereas at the Middle School and High School level student from both towns go to the same schools.

Public Works

The Public Works Department is in charge of trash pick up, running the transfer station, upkeep of the parks and recreation facilities, and other town-wide maintenance. For information as to trash and recycling pickup and other issues, please call (401) 245-0200.

Recreation

The Recreation Department holds the Annual Summer Concert Series at Burr's Hill Park and runs the summer playground program for children throughout town, as well as managing the beach and holding other events.

Seniors

The Warren Senior Center

The Warren Senior Center holds events daily, from yoga and exercise classes, to movie showings, bingo and a lunch program. Please contact the Senior Center Director Elizabeth Hoague at (401) 247-1930 for more information and a calendar of events.

Tax Information

The Town of Warren's fiscal year begins July 1st. Annual tax bills are sent out during the first week in July with quarterly payments due on the first day of August, November, February and May. All tax bills must be paid within five business days of the due date, after which interest will accrue at 18% on the entire outstanding balance.
